Govt Projects - What-we-do

COODU (Community Organisation for Oppressed and Depressed Upliftment) has been a trusted partner of the Government in implementing large-scale development initiatives that transform lives in rural and underserved communities. With decades of experience in watershed development, health, sanitation, education, and livelihood promotion, we work closely with government departments to translate policy into action on the ground.
Through our government collaborations, COODU has:

Executed Public Health and HIV/AIDS:

• Initiatives in partnership with agencies like TANSACS, ensuring outreach to High-Risk Groups (HRGs) and vulnerable populations.

Carried out Sanitation and Water Resource:

• Programs with departments of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Adi-Dravidar and Tribal Welfare, Water Resources and Agriculture,
creating sustainable community assets.

Facilitated Women and Tribal Development Programs:

• supported by government schemes, empowering marginalized groups with skills and livelihood opportunities.
• We act as a bridge between government policy and grassroots communities, ensuring transparency, accountability, and measurable impact. Our strength lies in
mobilizing communities, building capacities, and ensuring that government programs deliver tangible and lasting benefits to the people who need them the most.

At COODU, we are proud to contribute to the Government’s vision of inclusive growth and sustainable development through impactful partnerships and proven grassroots experience.
