Environmental Awareness & Community Development Initiatives
Quinbay Software Technologies Ltd., in partnership with COODU Organisation, has been actively supporting environmental and community development initiatives in Coimbatore through its CSR programmes. The partnership reflects Quinbay’s commitment to sustainability, education, and improving the living conditions of underprivileged communities.
2022–2023: Plantation Drive at Ondipudur Govt. Hr. Sec. School
The journey began with an
Environmental Awareness Programme
at the Government Higher Secondary School, Ondipudur, Coimbatore.
• A large-scale
plantation drive
was conducted within the school campus, with Quinbay
employee volunteers actively participating.
• Native saplings were planted to improve green cover, promote environmental consciousness
among students, and create a healthier, cleaner learning environment.
• The activity not only enhanced the campus ecosystem but also instilled a sense of responsibility
among students to protect and care for nature.
Building on its commitment, Quinbay and COODU jointly implemented a comprehensive renovation and greening programme at the Government Boys Hostel, Vellakinaru, Coimbatore.
• Plantation Drive: Native trees were planted around the hostel to improve air quality, provide shade, and encourage environmental stewardship among students.
• Infrastructure Renovation:
• Health & Hygiene: Installed a modern
RO water purification system
for safe drinking water.
• Educational Support: Supplied
technical books
to the hostel library, enriching academic resources.
• Cleanliness Campaign: Engaged hostel students and Quinbay volunteers in a campus-wide cleanliness drive.
The initiative was celebrated with a Completion Ceremony on August 2 , 2024, attended by hostel authorities, government officials, Quinbay leadership, COODU representatives, and the students. The event marked the official handover of the renovated facilities, symbolizing a collective commitment to student welfare and sustainability.
2024–2025: Ongoing Renovation & Plantation Drive at Govt. Girls Hostel, Sokkampalayam
Continuing this impactful journey, Quinbay’s CSR partnership with COODU has now extended to the
Government Girls Hostel at Sokkampalayam, Annur Block, Coimbatore District
.
The current phase (FY 2024–2025) includes:
• Comprehensive
hostel renovation works
to improve safety, comfort, and hygiene for girl students.

Green campus creation
through plantation drives, with active participation from Quinbay employee volunteers.
• Strengthening awareness on
environmental protection and sustainability
among young students.
