World Environment Day 2025 
Celebrating a Greener Future in Karamadai!

 Venue: Farmer Rajasekar Field, Seeliyur Therku Thottam, Kalampalayam, Karamadai
On June 5, 2025, World Environment Day was celebrated at Farmer Rajasekar’s field in Kalampalayam, Coimbatore, as part of the “Implementation and Intensification of Climate Smart Village & Package of Practices to Major at Upper Bhavani Basin” program. Organized by ITC MSK and the COODU organization, the event brought together ITC PSPD officials, the HR Head Mr. Mahinder Babu, the local Agricultural Officer, village residents, agricultural college students, and staff from COODU. The main focus was to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic and to encourage the community to reduce plastic usage under the theme, "Let’s put an end to plastic usage."
