Celebrating World Environment Day 2025 in Kinathukadavu! 
On June 5th, we came together at Government Higher Secondary School, Vadasithur, to honor our planet and promote climate resilience. The event kicked off with Tamilthai Vazhthu and warm welcomes from our COODU intern trainees.
Dr. Kathiresan, Secretary of COODU, highlighted the impactful CSR efforts of HDB Financial Services in watershed development across Vadasithur, Metubavi, Panapatti, and Arasambalayam Panchayats—supporting land treatment, well recharge (MAR), farm ponds, check dams, and more to boost climate resilience and benefit local farmers.
Mr. Santhosh Nair from HDBFS shared how their initiatives are transforming rural communities, including infrastructure upgrades at the school and health programs. The Environmental Day pledge inspired everyone to actively protect and preserve our environment.
Beneficiaries like farmer Mr. Aanand and PTA head Mr. K. Devaraj expressed their gratitude for the positive changes in agriculture and education. The celebration ended with a tree plantation involving students, staff, and volunteers—planting seeds for a greener future!
